Location Ballinrobe, the gateway to Connemara, is the largest town in south Mayo. It is well known for its race meetings, and as a great destination for a golfing weekend. Surrounded by some of the best fishing lakes in Ireland, Lough Mask, Corrib and Carra, Ballinrobe makes an ideal base for any sporting or relaxing holiday.
